The Brecon Carreg Cardiff Bay 10K is a flat, fast and friendly event for all ages and abilities, that forms part of the R4W 10K Series.
The popular spring-time race, which attracts some of the UK’s top athletes is set in the heart of the Cardiff’s historic Bay.
The 10K course takes in all of Cardiff Bay’s most iconic landmarks, starting and finishing in Roald Dahl Plass and passing the Wales Millennium Centre, Mermaid Quay, the Pierhead Building, Senedd, Porth Teigr and the Cardiff Bay Barrage.
It’s a perfect challenge for elite and club athletes as well as those looking to keep fit, raise money for charity or take on their first 10K! A fun 2K race gives runners and families of all ages a chance to get in on the action.

Previously known as the Cardiff Bay 5 Mile, the Cardiff Bay Run returned in 2017 with a stunning new 10km course. It has quickly grown into one of Wales’ best-loved 10K races. It’s spring-time date means it provides an early season opportunity to test your fitness or stay motivated over the winter months.
