INSPIRING FUTURE GENERATIONS
Summary
This virtual challenge has been launched as part of our re-imagined children’s events programme (#R4WNextGen), an exciting mix of live and virtual events aimed at inspiring the budding athletes of the future, as well as those who just want to experience the joys of getting active and outdoors.
Taking place during August 2021, it will encourage children to get active through a range of activities, gearing up to a 1-mile virtual race. You can take part in your own time, from any worldwide location, and everyone who takes part will earn a commemorative finishers medal.
Those taking part will receive an activity booklet that includes 4 weeks’ worth of activities to help with preparation for the big mile run at the end of the month as well as some arts and crafts activities to enjoy.

• Packs are priced at £10 for one, £18 for two (£9 pp), £24 for three (£8 pp) or £28 for four (£7 pp)

How It Works
Your mile run can be on any course, from any outdoor location. You will need to record a finish time and collect some supporting evidence that you have completed the race (such as a photo of you taking part, a drawing of the one-mile course you have created, or a screenshot from a fitness tracker or GPS activity). All finish times will be published in the official results.
The race will run between 1 – 31 August 2021. You can participate any time during this window but must submit your results and supporting evidence by midnight on 31 August.
Please note that a small non-refundable booking fee is charged on top of race entry by ACTIVE, who manage our online registration platform.
